Understand that you will have a U.S. Licensed Captain on board and a mate to assist you with tackle and the appropriate manner to reel and fight your big catch!  We are often asked why you can’t hold the rod.  We want you to understand that are equipment is very expensive and very heavy.  It is standard procedure for the mate to rig the rods and set them in the rod holder till “we get one on”, then the mate will set the hook and hand the rod to you and you can fight, fight, fight till we get em’ in the boat.
